Or you can just go through the ninja list.... pay attention to people who specialize in evasion/dodging, people who shield themselves every turn or with a mystery skill, people who get more defensive stats every time they get attacked.

A few solid relatively easy to get tanks: Hinata, neji, gaara(if you can miss ingots), naruto (3 star preferably). You c*so use clones and puppets to tank, ninja war kiba, kakashi, kankuro, naruto (again), kabuto, sai.

I probably missed some but the above are relatively easy to get just by doing a few elite missions or following the story. Just be careful against fire mains if your going to use naruto since fire is his weakness and fire tends to use a bit of area damage so his clones die easily.

Kidomaru and Naruto 3* are my suggestions because their shields/clones come up again and again, something like twice per round maybe? Or whenever chakra is up? I'm not sure, but it makes fighting Naruto 3* especially very hard.

Hinata, Neji, Choji(ish), Kimimaru, Gaara, Kidomaru, Animal Pain, Enma, Jirobo, Tobi just to name a few. Those are more of the dedicated tanks that I have seen used. I don't consider clone users as tanks, as often times their clones can be used for tanking or swarming purposes.

Best easy to get tanks are Naruto and Hinata unfortunately Neji is probably one of the most unreliable tanks in the game. I wish with all my heart and soul Earth main had a version of Hinatas or Nejis taunt though. With the Ignite + poison meta and the popularity of Fire mains the best tanks in PVP are actually clones. Is there a water tank short of using zabusa with clone?

Kisame is a good tank as long as he doesn't get ignited or if you have a good debuff remover. But he is kinda hard to get at this stage. But if you have him in combination with someone else who gives chakra to you like kurenai he heals a lot and is pretty much unkillable.

Naruto clones are supposed to be one shotted their purpose is to waste standards attacks and combos.

Kidomaru > Hinata > Kimimaru :P
