Sasuke's eyes shot open and he sat upright. He blinked and saw himself in a room he didn't think he'd be in again; His old room within the Uchiha Compound. He looked around, looking very confused.

"W-what in the world? Is this, Genjutsu?"

But then he realized something. He had his left arm. He raised it up to his face and touched himself. It was real. But to be sure, he formed the Ram hand seal and shouted out.

"KAI!"

He flared his chakra and nothing changed. His left arm didn't disappear. His surroundings didn't budge. He looked down and finally noticed how small he was.

"Wait, what?"

He got out of his bed and ran to a mirror. He saw his full reflection and gasped in shock. He was back to being a child! But then he wondered.

"How did this happen?"

His clenched his eyes in pain and grasped his head, as a memory attacked him.

FLASHBACK

Sasuke sat a forest, looking very calm and peaceful. He noticed a presence and looked up. His eyes slightly widened, his lips curve into an O shape. Before him was the Sage of Six Paths. Hagoromo Otsutsuki.

"Old man, why did you appear before me?"

The Sage stared at Sasuke before he sighed. "Konoha has fallen."

Shock overcome Sasuke's system, processing what Hagoromo had just said.

"What are you talking about?! How can Konoha fall?! Naruto. What on earth-"

"He has been incapacitated with a poisoning agent."

Sasuke stared at Hagoromo in shock. Naruto, had been taken down with poison? The Uchiha looked down before he looked back up and glared at the first ever Rinnegan bearer.

"No, that's impossible! Naruto had Sage Mode, his link with Kurama, the Truth Seeking Orbs, chakra from the other Tailed Beasts! How was he so easily defeated?!"

Hagoromo didn't wanted to say it, but it was a bitter pill to swallow. "Because it was done behind his back. The one to do it, was none other than his son, Boruto Uzumaki."

Once again, shock overcame Sasuke. "B-Boruto poisoned his own father?! No, it can't be. Last time i was there, he and Naruto were on good terms!"

"Yes, but unfortunately, an enemy had coerced Boruto into rebelling and incapacitated Asura's incarnation. However, Boruto had regained his senses after had poisoned his father and defeated the enemy, at the cost of Konoha."

Sasuke didn't say anything, as he realized one thing. His family had perished. Once again, he was the last Uchiha. Sakura, Sarada. Both of them were dead. Then, Sasuke remembered something.

"Then what about the other villages? Why did they not help Konoha?!"

"They had heard of it's fate too late. They were not able to do anything. Most of the survivors are now striving to rebuild Konoha. Under the leadership of your former sensei, Orochimaru."

Sasuke snorted. "Orochimaru? The Hachidaime Hokage? That sounds quite unbelievable."

"Even so, there is another reason why I came here to you. I came here, to offer you a chance to restart your life."

Sasuke's eyes shot open. He looked at Hagoromo with confusion. "Restart my life? What are you talking about old man?"

"What I mean, is to send you back to the past. Before this even all happened. Before the Fourth Shinobi War. Before your brother's death. Before your defection! You can undo your mistakes!"

The Uchiha looked down and spoke. "Why not before my family's massacre?"

Hagoromo s* his head. "I am sorry, but I cannot. That event is a necessity that must happen. Forgive me, as I can only send you AFTER, it has happened."

Sasuke thought through it and pondered. He could a better person. He could be a much more respected figure. He wouldn't have to betray. He wouldn't have to go through all of his dark moments again to realize that Konoha is worth protection. He wouldn't have to have Naruto and Sakura suffer because of him.

With conviction, Sasuke spoke. "Send me, a day before the Genin Exams."

Hagoromo nodded and clapped his hands. "Good luck with your journey."

A portal appeared above Sasuke, and it began to drew him in. Sasuke realized that he hasn't asked one crucial detail.

"Wait! What about my powers? Will they remain?"

Hagoromo merely smirked. "You will soon find out."

The portal descended and sent Sasuke back to his desired/requested time.

FLASHBACK END

Sasuke blinked and stood up slowly. He breathed in a huge intake of air, before sighing deeply. He looked back at his reflection and channeled chakra into his eyes. His right eye turned completely red and his iris was encircled by three tomoes. His left eye turned completely purple, multiple rings surrounded his iris, multiple tomoes present.

"Alright. so that answered my question. I still have ocular powers. But, the question now is my chakra. WIth conviction, he began to perform the three hand seals. "Ox, Hare, Monkey."

Sasuke clenched his left wrist, crackles of lightning surrounding his hand. Seeing enough, he nodded and ceased the jutsu.

"Well, I wouldn't have been able to perform the Chidori with my old chakra reserves, but it seems my chakra came with me as well."

The Uchiha looked out of the window. His eyes widened as there he saw: Naruto Uzumaki. The Nanadaime Hokage, Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi, the Dead Last, and his best friend. Sasuke looked down and clenched his arms.

"This time, I won't let your suffer. Things WILL be different. I promise you." Sasuke looked up and smirked. "And maybe help you out with that regret in your life."

SECOND FLASHBACK

Sasuke leaned against the tree, as he had just said his biggest regret in life. Not being a better friend. "So tell me, Naruto. What's YOUR biggest regret in life?"

Naruto looked down, looking very solemn. "My biggest regret? It's....Hinata-chan."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "You regret marrying Hinata and having your children?"

The Uzumaki chuckled sheepishly and turned to Sasuke. "Maybe I should have worded that correctly, eh? No. I don't ever regret marrying Hinata-chan. What I regret, rather, is never noticing her earlier."

The Uchiha said nothing and merely listened to what Naruto had to say. "Back then, she tried to gain my attention as best as she could. But I never noticed it, I kept flocking towards Sakura. Then came Pain's invasion. She risked her life, and confessed to me. I, didn't replied to her, and ignored her even. It wasn't until the debacle with Toneri did I realize I was in love with her. If I were to go back in time, I want to give her the affection she deserved."

Sasuke had a small smirk on his face. "Well, if I'm lucky and I was the one to sent back in time, I'd try to get you to notice her earlier."

Naruto had a smile on his face. "You'd do that for me?"

To his shock, Sasuke had said only two things. "Believe it."

FLASHBACK END

Sasuke smiled and looked at the clock. Two more hours until the exams start. He looked at himself and noticed he was still in his sleeping apparel. He went to his wardrobe and saw that the outfit he wore during the Chuunin Exams were there. If he was to be honest, he preferred it rather than his old Genin outfit. Sasuke nodded and took it out and wore it.

Looking at himself, he nodded and went to eat breakfast, with only one thing in mind. He will change for the better.
