Rogue Ninja Group Summons

Ive looked around at what strategy to use or what the proper method is for dealing with the rogue ninja before you go after the summons during the group summons, and i cannot locate any information.

We are having difficultly figuring out which ninja we should attack.. if the boosts affect everyone involved or if its just the team who killed it.. IF each person in the team gets items they have to to turn in to get the boost.

if specific ninja give specific boosts. A link to a guide or any information on this would be helpful..

TL;DR: Team up in a team of 3 with the 3 strongest player of your group, kill in the order of lightning, earth, water, use the self buff, turn in the items at the anbu, go smack the summon (you can do this in team or solo). If ambush spawns, use the same team to kill the ambushes.


The rogue ninja drops TWO things. One is a buff that only the TEAM that killed it gets to use, the other is a thing that you can turn in to the anbu guy near the entrance that, if sufficient number are turned in, benefits EVERYONE but does NOTHING unless sufficient amount is turned in.


It's important to note that both drop is dropped one per member of the team that killed it. This means that doing it in teams is better. In fact, doing it in teams is the ONLY way to get the group wide buffs, as those require SIX of a certain type of item, when there are only THREE of each of those ninjas. So a team of two at minimal is required to get 6 of those items. (and of course, the more people to get the personal buff and the bit of coupon, the better)


The lightning one is the best to do (do first if you are tight on time), as it provides an attack(nin tai) buff for the killer, and the group turn in grants full chakra to all members every turn, so you can dump more mysteries.

That is followed by the earth, which grants defense(def res) for the killer, this is helpful especially in case you are using WB asuma, it will allow you to keep full health longer and thus enjoy that buff (for weaker players, this allow any shield you have, probably from iruka, to last the full 3 turns instead of breaking. For stronger players, this could mean the summon deal so little damage that your health regeneration heal you to full everyturn. It's probably meh for medium player at ~50-60k)

And finally water, which gives hp which is useless if you are over 30-40k power, as anyone beyond that won't die anyway so it's moot. Thou it might buy you an extra turn otherwise.


I'm not sure what the earth and water group buff do. I don't pay sufficient attention and there is no notable difference to me.
