When it comes to late, lategame, it's often who can support your strong ninjas in a best way. Right now, it's mostly water/earth because of their direct support role- either heals or shield, x2 auto + tanking, lightning main because of root, anbu tactics tai leech or chakra gen, fire because of nin leech, mirror, overall cc/debuff either because of clone or chase/attack/mystery. And then there's wind main, who's supportive role limits her to refreshing mysteries (and cleansing debuffs) and (hardly ever used)- heal, when somebod recovers chakra.

If he's the best, that depends solely on the team you make. Even now there are certain teams, that works better with earth than any other main, but so goes for any main. If you get a lineup that's supported the best by earth, then earth will be the best for that lineup. There isn't- and won't be- the best overall main. It all depends on the team you wish to use.

Even in our meta and even in China's meta, the ninjas that are with earth main are hard to get for the average player. The average player would get those ninjas eventually but by the time they get it, the meta might have changed and they won't be competitive most of the time. Just * with water main since it is easy to make a lineup.

defence knowledge or earth style boulder jutsu?

both are good since one puts shield on all team and the other one gives you 60% buff resistance and 20% defense

can some people with knowledge about earth main tell my you choose either one for your team if you made your earth main as a support please?

im going to be earth main soon and want to know which one is best.

when i change to earth main ( i will use my seal scrolls for the first time) i will have roshi in the team, yagura, earth main and i have sailor sakura 4 stars. that was the team i had in mind. but its not the point of this post. just giving you the team i have in mind with my current ninjas.

please people put some tips?

reason is you want to trigger mains chase first before yaguras so if you face any ninja that bounces debuffs back u recive the ignite instead of accepenture

Lets break it down.

1) Defensive knowledge: +60% res, +20% def to all units in the field as long as main is alive. It's a passive, not a buff, so can only be removed by killing main.

2) Earth style boulder jutsu: 50% resistance shield to units in your team, lasts 5 rounds (or 3 rounds? somebody please correct me).

So, 2) is helpful, when you need your team to survive initial burst during r1, r2. Once the shield is gone, theres no more benefits. During 2v2 and 3v3 its likely, that you encounter han, that can cancel those shields right away. After all, it's the same as adding few k hp to your team, only once and cant be renewed.

Defensive knowledge on the other hand benefits all your teams. You are significantly more tanky and you should use it when your team isnt in danger of dying right off the bat when the fight starts. The longer the game goes, the more value you get out of it, (google effective health pool -EHP - for more information). Because of how EHP works, it also indirectly boosts your healing and shields.
