This week you can get 11 frags of jonin minato for free, thats so good, so cross fingers and hope to see him on every mission general mobilisation ^^

That's not the definition of free. I'm pretty sure OP asked for time period, in which you can piece him up just from free points, free redeemables etc.

Mission dealer is by far the best "free" way of getting minato. You have 1050 free points, which translate into 10 free frags (11 if you spend 60cp for missing 30pts). Every other event, that lasts for a whole week allows you to redeem between 4-5frags - mostly balloon, time limited ninja recruitment (the one with daily keys from elite/wanted) or any other event, where you get points via sweeping instances. Now since ninjas rotate, we assume every other week theres event, where you get 5frags for free and every other mission dealer gives minato frags: thats 4x5 + 11=31 every 2 months. For completely full minato it would take about 5 months. You can speed up the process by buying minato frags in other events like fateful encounter or treasure of the sages, where he averages about 140-150cp/frag OR lucky board/mission dealer, where he costs about 180-200, but you get additional items from board/boxes. Those two events are the events you want to spend hoarded coupons anyway.

i gt 1.2k-1.5k a week and 5-6k a month sometime 4.5k and im f2p i do plunder .i always focus on my power cuz im f2p so i hav less ninja but i dont use my coupon fr now . need to save bfore 4.0

i spent 11k coupons on that fatefull gt lucky fr points . but someone on my server more lucky just spend 9-10k fr it

it took me about 3 and a half months to get minato i got him yesterday accualy, in total minato costs 12k aswell as MM, i got 11 free from fatefull choices then 22 frags (with 3,6 coupons) plus 11 from free again and then 38 from mission boxes :) was it worht the wait? for me yes im a minafan and hes super fun to use but if u want something easier to use and probably better at control u should get MM i got minato cause i love him and its so satisfying when he gets his full standrad off :)

you can get minato for well no exactly free but if you use coupons and well any if he is in event that have point, like the one of this week, and you get a 30% on minato you can get him in around 2-4 months

update so far cant wait to put him with my 4* sage
