You selectthe tool you want the new stat goes to, then you select the tool with the stat you want, at that point you check the stat you want to transfer and the stat you want to replace in the main tool (could be also a void space if the main tool don't have 6 secondary stats). At that point you put up to 6 other tools in the other squared section to increase the chance to success up to 100%. You need 6 gold tools for it to become 100 and i warmly suggest you to use all of them because seems that dice is somehow rigged to roll numbers between 86-100 way more often than 15% of the times :D
