I am 79 atm and wanna lvl up to 80.
But i still wanna be in lowlvl in sage world.
Yesterday at sage i encountered poeple up to lvl 83.
Whats your experience in sage world with lvl division?
Do you know how it works, how the lvls are seperated?
Thats what i wanna find out, thank you
There is no hard line between what level it separates, it depends all on population density of each level.
if there are 100 + lv 82, for example, lv 81 and lower will never see lv 83 and above. Because there would certainly be a split on 82.
On the other hand, if there is a total of only say 40 players below lv 80, then a lv 20s might see lv 70s because there is simply no lower bracket.
So leveling up by 1 lv usually doesn't necessarily move you up a bracket, thou it might. Every level up is basically a gamble, you might or might not "lose" by being moved up. Thou the thing is, if more people show up for sage in the higher level, you might be bumped down again (By the same token, you might be bumped up)
I just want to point out that you have to be level 30 to do sage and there has never been a bracket split in the lower levels, it does depend on density but since the very beginning of cross server sage, the field has been 30-79, then 30-81, and now it's 30-83 most of the time with 30-84 sometimes.
It doesn't change the fact that how it decides is silly, 90% of my field is level 70s and below, put all the 80s in a field of their own I say rather than splitting them up.
30-79, 80-84.
Problem solved.
(It would be nice to split the level 50s/60s but there's usually only a small handful of them)
The fields are not distributed in a strict level ba
A few weeks ago, my UK char (level 81) was sent to a field of mostly 83 - 85s, with a single lvl 89. I'm fairly certain there are a lot of players between 86 and 88, that are not in that field.
You have multiple fields that you can qualify for, whichever one you get drafted into is probably rng, from what I can tell.

I've heard of similar situations where the 83s were apparently split between the "82 and under" field, and the "84+" Field. There's also been other situations where "Windrunner" A very, very strong level 83 player randomly gets put in the lower field with the 70s some days or gets put up with the 84 field other days and I won't see anyone in my field higher than level 82, which is pretty normal.
I just wish they would make their mind up with that stuff and have some consistency there, there's never a shortage of players in the 70 field, so stop dropping people with 70k power into it every other sage, round those people up a field instead of down.
