You people say it like you have to intensely stare at the screen for the entire time period. That simply isn't true (well, not if you do convoy, plunderers do, assuming they aren't cheating).

You only need to check the thing once every 30 min--you need exact times if you only open the page at that time, you have up to 30 min of leeway if you just keep it open on a tab somewhere. So in reality, you could get all the refreshes in with less than 20 min of staring at the game, less than 5 if you are good at keeping track of time.

(This is why i get screams of "y u no support me, u onlinez!" all the time in game.... because I'm afk...)

Then you need to realize that this is a ftp/ptw game. And part of the feature of such a game is that getting everything that is offered for free is hard, it takes a lot of work. Because if you can't make it, you are expected to catch up with $$. So you have a job, great! You can't afford to play the game as much as you want, but the income you get from doing the job will more than make up for it!

Not saying that people should pay, I don't, but the fact of the matter is you can. And therefore, it's ok to have stuff being challenging because there are options.

To do well in the game, you either have to spend time+effort or money. Don't be spoiled and expect everything to be handed to you.
