This SA is crazy. Oasis needs to either get rid of this one or over haul it. Out of the whole cross-server only 3 people did it. Those were the ones with over 100k bp. Usually it's like 30 or more people in the rankings but now it's only 3. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Bad marketing scheme. It didn't make people spend more so they can beat it. It's just another useless event. SMH!

Doing it as a team with only group members gives increased reward. All the ranking do is giving people an ego boost. We have 0 people on the ranking with quite a few finished with it, because we prefer actual useful reward.
I did it with 2 others, all 3 of us ftp. Now, we lost a few times when we were unfamiliar with the mechanic. But by the end (4th to 7th run), we only have 0-2 death each run, usually 1 due to 3rd hokage (the delay on mystery is bad due to the chases and animations, we have an interrupt but only managed to interrupt him twice out of the 7 successful runs)
So it's fine. If the ptw want a ego trip, let them. But for the average player, just do it in a team. It's not that hard.
(P.S. Gakido is REALLY good for this. Because they, especially minato, hurts you much more when you are tagged.)

Not sure what you mean. On my server everyone does it alone. No one does SA in teams. It's always been that way.

So no one on your server does it for the one extra attempt as a guild? If not, then I guess teamwork doesn't exist on your server :(

Ever since the Group instance SA merge, SA reward structure have changed
1. If you do it in a team with only group members, you get an extra attempt with extra rewards.
2. For each group member in your team, each fight you get slightly more group tokens and group contribution.
Considering the update that merged the two is only a bit over a month old, I'm not entirely sure what is the scope of your "always"

I dont think the standard lineup for this SA is that hard to obtain:
GNW Sakura: This month's sign-in rewards, farmable in rank store
Choja: Survival rewards, farmable in Spacetime store
GNW Sai: common in Edo treasure.
Of course, since SAs are now aimed to be done in team, you should team up with someone else. It's pretty easy in team mode.

You are absolutely right that you get the group rewards only once after you complete it as a group. However, there are some players who cannot solo certain strong approach easily and so they usually try to work as a team.

The group special is once only, however, if you look at the reward rubric, you will see the REGULAR reward, the reward that you gain for every attempt, increases with number of group mate in team.

That is only for the group rewards I would assume, why else would they have an extra attempt totaling 7?

For the EXTRA group run, on top of the stuff in red, you receive extra reward, the stuff in yellow.
But for EVERY run, you receive the reward in red. And as it is, the more group member you have in team, the more the reward for this red part.
This SA is a lot harder than the previous ones, mainly because Minato cheats and ignores priority for some reason (Like the Kages in Sealed Ninja teams) It's about how strong you are for your level that'll help or hinder effective completion of Strong Approach.
It's true though you get more group coins completing all regular runs as a Team of 3 with members from your group, they need to be clearer about it, why even have the bonus group run at all if running with a group is the most rewarding way anyway for normal runs, it just adds to confusion. They could have presented that information a lot better.
It's not up to Oasis to balance it, as it was developed by Tencent in China for the original version of the game, what Oasis can "possibly" do is decide which SA we get since it's currently on a 2 week rotation and maybe just not activate the Minato Strong Approach.
I find SA to just be tedious considering how easy it is to level BA Cloth to Level 27 for no cost and how hard it is to get your BA Rank up even if you buy the threads.
So it means a portion of what I get is entirely useless and has been for months, and the rewards are no better or worse from SA to SA, so it leaves you wondering what the point is when the SA last week may have been the simplest thing in the world to finish but this week it's a frustrating Nightmare, and on top of that the rewards are also no different/better.

I agree with your statement on how the ranking for SA is completely useless now. This SA isn't that hard in solo or in teams for me personally. I also agree on the fact that oasis needs to be more clear on the group rewards.
