I got him last event and he works great in my lineup with the sole problem that his special takes a full turn to charge. Sometimes I activate it as soon as he *s energy and he does not attack until partway through the next turn. It creates a gaping hole in my strategy. Is there any workaround? Reply

Nagato's mystery is not prompt skills, that means he won't use it untill his turn to attack- so, even if you have enough chakra and click it on start of round- he will cast it just when it will be his turn- keep in mind position in lineup determinate order of standard and non-prompt attacks. Basically, use his mystery when he's about to use his standard move, not after that 'cause it will make him wait with attack untill his move in next round.

Basically if you want to use him in round 1 put him after the other ninjas tht grant you the chakra needed for it. Example: sage naruto sage jiraya and him as 3rd prompt move would let you use it as soon as jiraya and naruto give you the 40 chakra you miss.

The downside to that is he ends up being a weaker version of tenten and for half the round you are vulnerable to control or chakra absorption.
