1＃ Go ToHello and good day!
I would like to ask how can you tell if you should go first in the arena in terms of prompt skills?
Today i encountered something like this:
Guy - Main - Hinata
Kabuto - x - x
x - x - x
and faced with:
x - x - x
Shizune - Main - Hinata
x - Sasuke - x
The scenario went like this: we both casted off the same skill with our main, but he went first (which is very very very crucial). How can you tell who goes first? Btw, i'm in a new server, we're in lvl 40s so no refine yet (i think)

Position supersedes initiative btw, so make sure your main is in a position where he'll be able to go first.
Like the previous poster mentioned, if both of you are in the same position, the one with the higher initiative will go first, so check his main's gear out to confirm it.
Also, prompt abilities will fire off first against anything that's not prompt.

i'm not sure about that. it's the enemy i faced is midnight blade. I think refine doesn't work also? Or i dont know. There should be a justification. And position supersedes initiative supports the fact that my position should go first right? It's so crucial that it affects every strategies. -

- Its arena, so refine doesnt work, lol.
Your gear contributes to your overall stats in arena.
@Leesh: I meant to say that position supercedes initiatve IF, for example, your main is in position 2, and the opponent's main is in position 1, then regardless of how high your initiative is, the opponent's main will ALWAYS go first no matter what.
