Hi guys, another chakra thread by me as I pulled a red Sand chakra and I am not sure whether to use it.

This time I would like to know how many of you guys use Sand chakra for DMG reduction? And which ninjas do you use it on?

I'm also going to speculate the following 2 points regarding DMG reduction:

1. Damage reduction is a flat decrease to initial base damage suffered
For example, mystery AOE hits the entire lineup for 10000 damage.

Ninja 1 has 1500 damage reduction with sand rune, so he receives 8500 base damage.

Ninja 2, 3, 4. have 1000 damage reduction. so they receive 9000 base damage

2. Defense, resistance or opponent's *ion are factored in AFTER base damage has been calculated.

Depending on each ninjas defense and resistance, each ninja will receive different damage values. Therefore, if your ninja has poor defense or resistance, the initial damage reduction might not be much use. But on a good tank like Kimimaro, the value of damage reduction might really shine.
