So ive just been kicked from sage world for the second time this week... i refreshed because i was about to lose a fight and then when i tried to log back in the game was lagging very badly, which resulted in me taking too long being kicked. On Tuesday i kept getting the message "request timeout" and once again was kicked from sage. My internet is working fine (i have fibre). Please work on ensuring your severs can handle the cross server events.

It's not an issue with the servers.

I would strongly advise on refreshing during a cross-server event, As quitting can and will leave you from re-joining.

Because of the packet loss to your opponent, you've intentionally stalled the match by existing. It's quicker to just simply * it out.

Your opponent would have to wait till the connection stabilizes for a return to combat.

So basically, just avoid refreshing in Sage. Especially during battle.
