I gotta say, I know there are a few other "hot topic" events that feel pretty rigged but The Lucky Star wheel takes the cake. While I guess it's not statistically impossible but it's definitely improbable that I'd land on the same * 3 star slot every.... single... time. No not even the other 3 star slot... days and days of the same * slot. Even after ponying up coupons a few dozen times. Come on Naruto don't make it so obvious, our little monkey brains can tell patterns and when something feels off. You realllly want to try to pry some ingots outta peoples hands don't you. lol.
i gt 3-4 time ningendo frag n 2 time shurado frags n it free spin
the 3* is the worst value on the wheel. That's kinda the thing though.
4 spins with the 3* totals 12 stars. It only costs 11 stars for a Lvl 4 Nin or Attack Magatama.
Less than 80 coupons for a level 4 magatama that costs 135 in shop.
Yes, it's weighted heavily towards giving you the 3* - but even if not getting any of the "good stuff" on the wheel then you're already getting perfectly good value!
Now, you'll occasionally get the sealed scroll and somewhat regularly get a summon scroll... and, of course, there are spots with more than 3* and the 50 ninja frags. All of those spots are gravy. They're bonus.
The Lucky Stars Wheel is amazing for anyone that has ninjas that care heavily for either NIN or ATTACK.

I have to agree here. The cost of magatamas in this event is decent and it is really a gd power upgrade although you can get magatamas from ninja exam.
You also get value anytime you land on summon or seal scrolls.
But i wouldn't recommend spinning the wheel if you were not interested in the 2 ninjas up for grabs. I was interested in ningendo so i went for it.
No, it is not rigged.
Because rigged implies that they, in any way, presented them as equally likely. This isn't the case, because it would be ridiculous given the best prize on the board.
This makes it not fair, but it is not rigged. Those are two different things. Something that is not presented as and is actually not "fair" is not rigged.
Anyone who would expect them to be equal chance is, to put nicely, overly and naively optimistic.
An argument can be made for the group wheel to be rigged. As the prize on there are not of unreasonable value to be fair. And therefore, lacking reasons to the contrary, could be believed to be fair. And as far as result goes, it does not appear to be fair. If something appears to be but isn't fair, then it is rigged.
On another note, Lucky Board seems "fair". I haven't tracked every single dice throw (I usually throw in 10s anyway) but I get more or less everything evenly I think.
It's all rigged in a way, but in a way that the board knows exactly what you are getting before the wheel stops spinning. Just like how card flipping is rigged. In general though, it's not bad. The RNG seems better than a lot of other events, I just find it hilarious when the wheel has to do like 2 extra rotations just to get to the prize it stated that you were getting lol.
You would be surprised by the amount of people who weight of the probability of getting prizes equal and even the amount of people who expect rare prizes if they spend more. It makes sense for lower value prizes to have their probability increased since it is common to get in game and it somehow incentives you in thinking the next prize would be better. As long OP experiences these types of RNG games, I hope he learns on using his coupons/ingots wisely on RNG events rather than raging over the low chances of rare prizes. Lucky $natch is coming tomorrow and sadly, I'm expecting someone to rage over in the forums about the tendo frags and kushina and the low rate.
Ah yes, TI card flip is rigged, it does nothing, your reward is determined before the actual flip
Some theorize the same thing for survival breakthrough.
That said, there is a chance that while rigged, they are fair, that is to say you are equally likely to get what is presented anyway. But it might not be, whoever knows~
Edit: on second thought, if it is fair, then it is not rigged.
Rigged requires two components:
1. It is not what it appears to be
2. It is advantageous for one party and/or disadvantageous for the other.
If it's fake but fair, then it fulfills 1 but not 2, thus not actually "rigged"....
do we have a word for that?
Lucky wheel isn't rigged the drop rates just seem pretty low. I have seen plenty of people get the "rare" prizes on free spins including myself. I have yet to see anyone get Shurado though. I wouldn't recommend spending on this event ever unless you really want the redeem ninja and they are fairly cheap. Even then maybe not.

This. Best lucky stars wheel I think I've seen.
So who cares if it's rigged? It's good value.

lucky stars combined with the balloon pop was awesome.
cheap magatama and refines and if you spent ingots to do it then you got balloon pops which got you edo hakus/mood scrolls galore. I got so many ninja to 25% in moodscroll cus of this event.
Lucky Stars has always been an event in which players should avoid like the plague in the past. What was on the Wheel however was a lot better. Most of the time you would only get 1 Star or 1 frag of a ninja. It doesn't change the RNG on it *s, just remember all your prizes are already pre-determined the moment you click the spin *on. Or go for any of your rewards.
Even Survival has the rewards predetermined cause every time you see say
Asuma Wind Blade 30 coupons Awakening Material Awakening Material Choza
You will always never get the 30 coupons. But get everything else.
