I was headed toward the north east face. I thought about how Ai hadn't passed... He should've. He was way more powerful than me... Why did Konan want someone like me...? I lost my footing and slipped, a sharp stone cutting my left arm.

"Ow" I said, as the blood seeped out of my wound. "I need to carry on..." I spoke as I started running again.

Within a few minuets I was at the north east face. My body ached as I slumped over the bars, once again over-looking the river. A few drops of my blood fell into the river,being carried along with the tide. I liked this feeling. I liked being calm. I heard a flurrying of paper behind me. I assumed it was the delivery service down the road as they delivered their papers. I turned around, expecting to see the post-man but Konan was standing there.

"Hello Kibo." She spoke calmly, but there was an undertone of tension. My legs started feeling weak... My arms got heavier and my head felt lighter. I fell over to my right and Konan stood above me. "Is there a problem?" She asked. Honestly I was just so tired and shocked... She was actually here. I used my palms and tried to stand up.

"Kibo stop playing around." She sounded agitated. This was my chance... I had to stop sitting around. I stood up firmly.

"I'm fine... Why are you here?" I gasped

"I am here to give you a mission. Pain and I want you to do a mission of high difficulty and ranking. It will hurt you physically and emotionally." She explained.

"Anything for Pain and you Ko..." I attempted to finish but she interrupted me

"We need you to kill Ai"
