Minato and Obito do show up in other events (In China, they showed up in treasure of the sages). Deciding where is the cheapest is hard to calculate since on our server, we don't have a lot of events in past that have them and occur frequently. I can't seem to find the forum post that I saw the estimates but they both cost around 12k-14k each in fateful choice so you'll get more than half you spend your coupons this week.

So Far we've only seen Jonin Minato in Fateful Choice, and TIme-Limited shop.

Fateful choice event- 10-13.5k coups is about the average for most people. Roughly 200 coups per frag. You need a ton of luck to get him for 10k.

TIme-Limited Shop- Priced at around 16k (INGOT Only) so keep that in mind. Sweeps count but hardly enough points to finish him unless you would be 2-5 frags shy at that point in time.

If they manage to put him in general mobilizations, at the same points redeemable as Masked Man, you can snag him for around 12k. For Masked man you were able to redeem 9-10 frags for the free over the course of the event. This would currently be the most cost efficient unless you are spending ingots for time limited. And even then that is a bit pricey.

Well, I am planning to get him as well, but definitely not in fateful choice event simply bcoz I rather pay 100% fixed price or more in case I'd get power items, than rely on RNG. His regular price is about 14~16k, but when you aren't using ingots, buying only ninja fragments with coupons in fateful choice is a waste, if you are f2p/or low spender like me. I really dislike that event and if you don't have ingot spending synergy, it's even worse. So if I were you, I'd wait a bit, save about 10-12k coupons and buy him in one of the future events.

i was thinking the same, i am low spender i pay only for montly pack... i would kill myself if i spend now on fatefull choice and next event got him way more easyer... i dont like rgn events i like to calculate how much i need and pay but here cant
