Hi guys, Jinchuriki treasure has been out for some time now. I've been seeing more use of Roshi, especially the wind main with kurotsuchi... but not so much of Han. My power bracket 45-55k.
I would like to know what the community thinks as I only can afford 1 of them. Some players have already mentioned that Roshi is short term and will get phased out by new ninjas, whilst Han is for the long term.
I'm kinda planning for the long term so I'm inclined towards HAN, do let me know which you would choose and why.
Hi! I personally feel Roshi is a little better especially for the long term as it has a lot of potential and damage as a tank. However, the best thing I would recommend is saving 300 seals and taking advantage of one of the seal rebate events and get the rebate as well, which will in essence give you a high chance of recruiting both Roshi and Han =]
Always take advantage of rebates and maximize your potential for rewards!

Thanks for the replies.
But what I heard from some players previously was that Han is more useful in the long term. And doesn't China have reanimated Roshi now?
He was introduced in China but only for a limited time only via a limited treasure like the kazekage one back in november-december
I ended up grabbing Roshi, I considered getting Han...but...
What'd I use him for? He does have super armor and self healing, compared to immunity and self healing. He can dodge, compared to burning and powering up when hit. And he has a single target chase, good for combos, but Roshi's chase, which is harder to pull off, does more damage.
Plus, other ninjas can remove buffs, shields, etc.
And as for Standard, Han has a sweep, Roshi single target, that's preference. And as for mysteries, they're both mainly there to even the field, anti buff teams.
Oh, if you're wondering about looks, I'd go for Han, he's cooler.
For me I went for Han so I can pair him up with Jonin Minato. His ability to remove buff is great especially when you fight against heavy buff teams like lightning blitz. Han overall is pretty good and can really change the fight depending on the type of lineup you go against, also the fact that he can't be comboed is a plus. The only thing as of right now that I can say is bad for Han is the fact that he is not immune to status effects like Roshi so he can easily be cced. Roshi on the other hand is pretty much a cheaper 4 Tail Kyuubi Naruto who can chase and has a mystery that hits up to 9 units and removes barrier. The only real problem I've seen with Roshi is the fact that his chase requires 30 combo and that kind of limits you to certain ninjas and summons if you want to pull off his chase. When it comes down to it they both are really good, and of course they have their own flaws. The biggest thing is to decide ba
I chose Roshi over Han first. I am still getting Han, waiting for next rebate.
Here are my reasons
- There are so many Hashiramas in my RB's. So I have him to break his barrier.
- I personally think Roshi is better than Han in arena. I see Roshi more than Han in arena also. I feel like Roshi has more outplay potential.
In normal PVP, I don't really build a team to make him chases 30-hits. But when in GNW he could chase 30 hits from team mates. I've done 2v1 in War also, enough healers he would do well.
ADDED: Han still needs secondary damage dealer to win fight quickly, rather compare to Roshi. If he survives Round 1, even close to death, he would demolish half hp of entire team or more. Either short fight or long fight, Roshi is still a win win situation unless you face stronger opponent who can 1 shot your Roshi 3 hits. Yes I've seen and countered some in Matsuri against those top space time. So sad.
To get advantage on roshi you need to be quite highpowered in comparison with your usual enemies. Han is better if you are usually weaker than your enemies or with lower initiative. Han works nicely with water main or fire main and if you are in the lower side of your bracket then a team with han, azure fang, gnw or sailor sakura and mei/yagura or gakido could let you win some matches you usually lose.
1. Go for Roshi
2. Mood +life and watch him wok
All jokes aside, you were misinformed about future usage between the two. Rohsi is absolute endgame. Regardless of ninjas and me
I experienced both han and roshi for free on arena, and both worked out fine for water main, but han helped me the most, idk about others though
If you want to reach sage of six paths right now by being f2p you need han, without him is impossible unless you got the luck of the devil and pulled hashirama from packs when was available. Roshi can carry you too but only if you have higher initiative than most of your enemies in superkage rank, otherwise you just get owne, so yes, your impression is right.

i dont think soo . i reached six path from kage just in 1 day . i use sakura gnw naruto sage and mei i fought with hans ,roshi , hidan cursed ,ay,sasuke sus n just loses 1-2 time only . but fr me i will go fr roshi fr endgame / long run .
roshi is slightly better specially if you have more power and initiative than your opponent and deals way more damage than han.,but can go down pretty fast if u dont have the support to keep him a live for a few rounds and works pretty much with all elements. Han is the destroyer of blitz and a better tank than roshi, but only shines with either fire main or water main since these are the only 2 classes that deal damage with dots and don't rely on buffs.
so if you have mei and you're either water or fire main go for han.If you don't have mei or roshi, and you're not a fire or water main go for roshi.

Because you have higher initiative than most of your enemies in superkage rank by being a very old server f2p (server 99 or older) or because you are in a server so new that you are still not in cross server circuit or you are not f2p. Your teams loses 100% of the times against an higher initiative mei mabui tenten gnw or an higher initiative root me

This team got me worried sometimes when I fought against, as I am currently using Mei, Sailor and Roshi.
By Round 4 my team has opening with all mystery on cooldown. Thus this team SN and Mei are rotating mystery each round.
Thank god that player, he was superkage, focused on wrong unit and made me survive to Round 5 and restarted my fight and won.
