I also face Super Kage and I just deal with it and hope I get a better match up on my next match. Sometimes I win if I get lucky or if they DC or they just mess up and sometimes I lose coz the opponent has better ninja synergy and strategy than me.

What is unfair in arena is simply the requirement of reaching sage of six path rank to begin to be a 'season' player. If was set to kage instead of sage of six paths everything would work perfectly fine.
