When exactly within the round did you cast it?

Have any chase chain happened in the round before you cast it?

As it were, the game is not very good on allotting time for chases and have no protocol for verifying client side game state except end of round. So there is a good chance that the game state is well ahead of the client on the server side, which means when you cast your mystery, the barrier is already up on the server end, resulting in what you see.

As it were, unless a mystery is cast at beginning of round, you really can't make any claim on timing.

I believe there was a chase chain. But I casted it directly after his sasuke mystery was queued. Which was at the start of the 3rd move. And his sasuke was position 4. And it took my 20 chakra. My skill went dark but showed no cooldown and then triggered after sasuke launched kirin.

You see HIS ability queue on the step where the server receives his queue in terms of "battle order. So no, you did not cast it directly after he queued it, you cast it after you SEE he queued it.

It probably went down like this:

The left side being what's happening on the server while the right side is what you see.

Mind you, he probably see what you see, so when he queued it, he's probably watching the chase, thinking it's around action 3 or 4 as well.

i do too. I'm a wind main with dance and natural draining, so I gain chakra in the middle of the turn. Due to this problem, a lot of time I won't get time to cast by the time I "see" my chakra gain (turn already ended) so i have to turn on and off auto as the chase start at times to get it to queue up. But... well.. auto targeting is... of below average intellect.

Very far below lol. It upsets me when it targets clones sometimes.

I've been noticing this a lot too. Just today I was fighting someone who had Sage Naruto in slot 1 and I had Darui in slot1 and Mabui in slot 3. He has more power and higher initiation than me so I waited for him to cast Rasen Shuriken on my Darui and I Queued up my Mabui as soon as it hit my Darui and he was also getting a couple of chases off of it. Then his Naruto proceeded to standard attack me before my Mabui even cast her mystery. This was on SWB where you fight in x1 too.
