to clarify on the title, anyone can post, but its targeted to those two groups when discussing this topic, so keep that in mind when replying please~
now, if you watch People like scion storm and Kaiser, they always say "go power" "power always" and to an extent, I can understand this HOWEVER this is only understandable from the focus of high spenders, Imo one simple fact is, you don't beat a heavy p2w by spending efficiently you don't really best them at all as an f2p, so why try? Why not get the ninjas you want and have fun fighting people your power... You aren't more likely to win because you got 5k more power over that fun rare Nin, why do I say this? Because your opponent also will have 5k more power...
so basically, why should a player who is f2p or low spencer who's never going to be compareable in power to high spenders buy power instead of going for ninjas and fighting people at there power?
thoughts opinions and such?
sorry if this looks disconjointed, pc isbroken so typing on a phone
I personally go for ninja, everyone's about power, me? I just want a good time! :D
I'm f2p and I have 99 ninja, hoping to get Roshi as my 100th, and not Hebihime
that's cool to hear and yea everyone seems to be power addicts, I'm middle of the road, I look at future content, get the ninjas I like and are strong, and then when I've got surplus coupons I go for power, I get minato on his next coupon buy event <3 he's my fav
gl getting all the nins =D!
While it is true that a strong p2w will always best you even if you are 100% efficient, if you do for power you will be in the top 5 of your server which in turn means more free stuff such as refines and seal scrolls. The "go for power" applies to what you should do in the majority of the events. Where you hesitate to go for a ninja. As an example getting dp hidan is great and all, but you really need a team behind him or else you won't be able to use him properly.
If you go for a ninja it's because either you like him a lot (Jonin Minato for example) or it will be an end game ninja that you will use for the next x months (tentent or sailor Sakura). Going for Hanzo and then realizing you won't put him in your lineup because your prévois team is stronger is simply a waste of coupons for a f2p.
However if you really love a ninja and will make the game more fun to you then by all means get him.
This game is oriented to pvp so not having enough power will make you a punching bag for other players which ultimately will probably bore you and you will end up quitting the game. However not getting any rare ninja is also boring and can end up in a similar situation where you get bored of the game. Try to balance the 2 and inform yourself of what is coming so that you can save seals/coupons for things you really want.
I agree with this strategy and strongly advocate for f2p doing research nd planning what to go for, which is why, yes, middle of the road is best, however, the majority of people simply go power and nothing else, , and as a side note, the to 5 on my serve have upwards of 85k bp, the highest f2p barely breached 68k
@renjiasuka
I don't think one should get every ninja, and i agree that youl still be viable in battles, maybe even more so for the variety you can bring, as the power gap becomes less relevant later as survivability goes way up
@shadowblazex
I disagree thvariancr of gain between 2 pure f2p players is minimal, if somebody went pure power vs pure mins, there'd be a 5k difference or so depending, heck, even a 20k difference is easy to make up with vastly superior ninjas and tactics, its more enjoyable to
I get what you are saying though, and I think that its mor an issue of newer servers, in the older larger servers there always going to ne people around your power to fight, the less power you have might even be an advantage for getting those refimes when you are put in a lower sage world
in regards to seao rates, I agree and I don't agree at the same time, many of TH event ninjas age significantly better then seal ninjas do, and are generally stronger and cooleto use, I advocate very much for the research and planning strategy, decide what ninjas you want and save for them then use the excess on power
however there's many people who hav gotten it in there heads that you can only buy pwerrx nothing else and that you are a bad player and an idiot for spending coupons on a ninja, and I just find that absurdly strange
From what I see in cross server events, most f2ps who want to be competitive will use the water team with tenten, mei, and mabui and focus power as the ninjas required aren't as hard to get. If a f2p should save their coupons for a ninja, they sacrifice the power they would have got.
Some people focus on power so that they can be in the top percentage (20-25% at least) of players who can win in events such as sage since its level ba
I actually disagree, sage world is ba
You should also disclose what your level is and your friends'. Remember, they count level first when putting where you are in a sage bracket then power. It makes sense you need a higher power compared to the majority of the bracket to stand out. The lower brackets (lvl 70+) is when players start to understand the game and begin building their teams and build power. I'm like your friend who faces people with that power bracket. However, my friend, who is five levels higher than me and have a power difference of 7k), ends up in a higher bracket.
Anyways, in the end, just like what Armand__ said, research a team you want to play with and use your coupons wisely.
at the time of the multiple sage worlds? both 90 and for 2-3weeks worth of battlefieldshope
I also heavily agree with armand hope more people adopt this playstyle over listening to youtubers who cater to heavy spenders and always say powerpowerpower, I Said it myself that's the Strategy I use in the post above his. But this is also a discussion of why people are like this, rather then what arm and is saying
@TheD tur
neither of those teams are 100% F2p as they require luck to get those ninjas, if you have an actual f2p team I'm happy to listen
@Zathroth
I tend to agree, a lot of people seem to kot care about fun in the forums, most most of the heavy forum users are probably on the more spendy end as well... Or at at least the more vocal ones...
@AhMazein
like it or not, alot of people listen to them and make choices ba
@EpixSaxGuy
then at what point do you start playing for enjoyment, or is the only form of enjoyment using a single team and winning? I certainly agree that a lot of ninjas now will become bad later, this is why I want people to research content and only get the ninjas they like and will use
@DodgeOh
I can get this argument(never gonna get roshi), but, premium ninjas in the future are realistically accessible, heck, you can get minato or obito in 4 months f2p, if you are talking usano Hitachi, sage hashirama, twunsdr homage, I completely agree, without spending these are unrealistic goals and should be replaced in your goals, but 10-12k coupons for a ninja who will last 1-2 years like minato or obito? Is still amazing value, and badass to boot
@JushinUchiha
personally I have spent under 25 on the game so id say you have quite a high commitment there, and in some ways I agree power is useful, in many ways it is, but as you said, strategically picking up ninjas, this is what I advocate for, but when people like yourself claim that powrler is the best choice period, it makes a lot of people think this id the only thing that matters, then they suit cause they can't wind have no ninjas and hate the game
