Why doesn't the MC's age match that of team 7's generation? From the very beginning they look closer to say kakashi's age than naruto's, yet they're supposed to be teammates? Why not have them age up with the other characters? It could be based on like story progression or lvl or something? Idk, this just always seemed weird to me.

Another, more minor thing, (not that either are particularly serious) is maybe gender choice? It would give more variety. I mean seriously, theres just repeats of the same 5 characters. It might be asmall thing, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who would like being able to have, say, a female fire main or a male water main, etc.
