he is good in ranked battles and nine tails instance. he is a good pocket character for ppl like earth mains who try to outlast you and use defense as there main tool. hidan doesn't care about shields. the only downside he is usually the first one to be targeted since he is the biggest threat so you have to find away to protect him. this downside can be a positive if you use hidan for the metta game and use him as bait. i wouldn't use him as a solid team build character though.

He can literally 1-shot someone every 2 rounds, so he's pretty good.

I would suggest using hidan only in a team with multiple big threats - i.e. Animal Path, Konnan, Hidan, Earth.
If they go after hidan - konan reks em due to tag spread in round 1, and vice versa for Konnan.

Hidan revives, konnan might dodge your combo starter so they're both poor choices in a long fight - which an earth main can guarantee.

is hidan good with breeze dancer character?

I think hidan is kind of crap.He one shots in early game but when you hit lvl 70+ is useless.Sorry
