His main is probably faster than you and gets off his combo first.

You could try placing someone such as Neji in your #1 place and let him use gear with at least +4 refines so that he can outspeed the enemy main and stop him from casting.

You could also have a damage dealer do it if you have Hinata or someone that can stop him from casting with his/her chase.
