His main is probably faster than you and gets off his combo first.

You could try placing someone such as Neji in your #1 place and let him use gear with at least +4 refines so that he can outspeed the enemy main and stop him from casting.

You could also have a damage dealer do it if you have Hinata or someone that can stop him from casting with his/her chase.

If you're faster, even if he send back yur debuff, you'll send back to him too with Kurenai (table tennis powa).
If yu're slower, wait for Karin to cancel a debuff and then strike back.

I use that :P but the White Monkey is better because it makes 8combo everytime..

Well it's not an 8 combo when you can't launch an attack is it.

As the above ninja stated, use the empress team (kurenai will reflect debuffs back at enemy team).

You could also try using your shadow clone talent so that the enemy fire main targets the clone with standard attack instead of you.

fire mains have a mirror too ,so the debuff goes back to me if i use kurenai

Wind clones are the bane of my existence - use this to bait fire mains into clearing with dragonfire on turn 2, to interrupt and demolish them.

As far as I know, double refects mean either you or your team will get it. But it is better than nothing.

empress team's alwasys slower than that fire"s fomation btw empress team's good but every wind mains:P use that team so it's super boring.

fire mystey is the same as wind mystery, 1 turn cd

tbh even if you're faster or slower, the Generic Empress team doesn't end up helping you later on (In my view, you can agree or disagree, idrc) especially if your only initiator goes down for the count. I had to switch out to a different MC (Water mostly, Earth occasionally) 'till I get better ninja's for wind, Especially since I want to actually main her. In my server I can't, and it's just starting to get pretty ridiculous.

Sadly empress team can only counter weaker fire.

The standard empress team loses in almost every case purely because it has the main on "Move 2" and most fires etc run on "Move 1" so regardless of your initiative you won't go before them unless you land a cc or it's a ninja with a non prompt mystery.

To counter it I swapped talents to run clone standard attack and multi shadow clone with main on "Move 1". Yes I realise this lowers the damage of the empress build, but that damage is useless if you're slower and getting locked down.

^This method does rely more on your main having a good amount of initiative to go first, otherwise you're in the same boat but with less damage to boot :D

tobi hinata fire team has alot of debuffs and karin can remove them all in one round, and since fire main goes b4 wind main wind gets sealed/prisoned/ignited every time until dead even if karin dispels seal, imprison will get ur main killed by aoe next round.

then without an initiator fire just picks off ur team while u hope for a combo to start.

as a fire main i love seeing empress teams because they are a free win since they cant hit hard if they dont hit first.

clones counter sleep but dragon one shots them if they have no shields, wind main needs lucky draws for ninjas(or lots of money for draws) to be able to beat a fire seal team since they basic ones dont help.

iruka, gaara, pb sasuke, konan, pain, c*l help u out alot with shields and cc to keep u alive and surviving that first combo so u can counterattack
