Scarlet stirred in his sleep, before groaning. He felt his body be slightly stiff, probably in a state of recovery. He opened up his eyes, but was confused greatly. He saw nothing but black. He blinked again, still black. And again, and again, and again until the realization hit him hard.

"AAARRRGGHHH!"

His friends quickly rushed into the room and knelt besides Scarlet. Azure held his cheek, looking at him with worry.

"Scarlet-kun, what's wrong!?"

The Uchiha looked to the direction where the voice came from. Tears swelled up from his dull eyes before he finally broke down.

"I...I'm blind!" Everyone looked down in sad expressions. Scarlet began ranting in pure sadness. "N-now I can't fight! I can't protect! I can't help! I'm useless! What's the use of a blind shinobi!?"

SMACK!

Scarlet reeled at the stinging pain on his cheek, Azure glared at her boyfriend while tears were in her face.

"How can you just say that?!" Scarlet looked solemn. Everyone decided to leave the couple alone to speak. With everyone out, Azure continued. "You're not useless Scarlet-kun! You will never be! You'll always be of help to us, no matter what!"

The brunette Uchiha still looked solemn. "But, how can I help if I cannot even see?"

Azure smiled sadly and pecked his cheek. "We'll find a way, don't worry."

At this, Scarlet smiled sadly as well and tried to hug Azure, but couldn't really see her to do it, so Azure embraced him instead. The two stayed at that for a while, until they broke apart. From the door, Naruto leaned against the door, watching the two in somewhat sadness. He looked at the scroll in his hands, a scroll that his sensei had given to him before his death.

Naruto had an idea what it was, but first he needed to verify. He disappeared in a blur and arrived in the middle of a clearing. He unfurled the scroll on the ground and channeled chakra into it. Smoke popped up and a vial appeared...a vial with two Mangekyo eyes in them with a note attached to it.

The blonde ripped off the note and read it.

"Naruto, this vial contains the preserved eyes of Scarlet's blood guardian. I took some extreme precautions for it to be preserved till a long period of time. Give it Scarlet once he starts to lose his light."

Naruto smiled and placed back the vial into the scroll. "You came prepared, eh Jiraiya-sensei?"

"Naruto!"

The Uzumaki looked behind him and saw Kakashi looking at him with a serious look.

"The four other Kages have decided to have me as the temporary representative for Konoha with our Hokage dead. I want you to accompany me to the meeting as my personal guard, along with Yamato."

Naruto nodded, making Kakashi eye smile. The two disappeared in a shunsin.

Meeting Room

The four Kages, plus Kakashi sat in the meeting room, as if waiting for something. All of the samurais stood guard, waiting for anything to happen. A familiar sound reached Naruto's eyes, as a swirl appeared in the middle of the room, Tobi dropping down.

The samurai reached for their weapons, but Mifune calmed them with a single gesture. Tobi nodded in appreaciation and sat on the rubble behind him.

"It seems everyone is present. Well then, it is time to say what I've had in mind." Tobi looked at the banner of Hi no Kuni, seeing Kakashi, Yamato and Naruto standing below it. "But before that, let me tell you a story."

And Tobi began to tell the story of the origin of the Bijuu and the Juubi. As well, as the Project Tsuki no Me.

"With all of you as witness, I now go to war with all of you! I start the Fourth Shinobi War!"

Everyone began to get restless at the bold declaration, but what Tobi said somewhat calmed them.

"However, if you give the remaining jinchuuriki, I'll spare all of you the trouble and give you your deepest and darkest dreams."

Naturally everyone furiously disagreed to this, mostly Naruto.

"In no way we're gonna agree to that! You're gonna rob us of our will and freedom just so we can experience fake happiness?! I don't think so. Bansho Ten'in!"

Tobi grunted as he was pulled towards Naruto. The blonde shaped up a Rasengan and prepared to slam it towards Tobi's face, but he turned intangible at the last second and jumped away from the blonde.

Everyone looked at Naruto in shock, taking a note at his eyes. The Raikage gaped, being somewhat who has a militaristic view on villages, meaning he wants to gain power through bloodlines, seeing Naruto;s eyes made him gulp.

"To think, Minato's brat possesses the powerful eyes of a Sage. I need to be careful around him, but first we need to deal with the war and Madara."

Everyone regained their confidence and stood their ground. Tobi clicked his tongue and started to disappeared.

"Just know, that this is all on your head."

Tobi completely disappeared and went back to his base. Mifune spoke. "Tetsu no Kuni would gladly assist the Five Great Villages in this war."

The four Kages plus Kakashi began to discuss their plans and possible squads and units to form to prepare for the way. Meanwhile, while Naruto was guarding Kakashi, he sent a shadow clone to his friends, who held the vials for Scarlet's replacement eyes.

Back in the Room

Scarlet still looked so dead, not being able to see affected him greatly. Azure sat beside him, trying to comfort her lover. Crimson looked very sad, while Breeze and Midnight looked very somber. All of a sudden, Naruto appeared.

"Hey guys."

Breeze raised an eyebrow. "Niisan? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be guarding Kakashi-sensei?"

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, I am. I'm just a messenger clone sent by boss to deliver something to Scarlet."

Said brunette sat up. "Eh? What is it Naruto?"

The jinchuuriki handed the vial and note to Azure. The bluenette began reading over the note and gasped in shock. Crimson *ed it away from her and began reading, with Midnigt and Breeze reading from behind his shoulders. The three of them looked shocked as well.

Scarlet frowned, not knowing what's happening.

"Well? Spill it you guys? What am I? Chopped liver?"

Everone chuckled.It's a good thing Scarlet retained his sense of humor. The Naru clone looked at Scarlet and told him what he delivered.

"What I gave to Azure-chan was a vial, which contains the eyes of your deceased guardian. Jiraiya-sensei took great measures to make sure the both of you were compatible. HI just recently found out about it and wanted to give it to you, so you can regain your sight."

Tears began to fall from Scarlet's dull eyes, his lips contorting into a sad smile. Azure hugged her lover, with Crimson and the rest joining in for a group hug. Naruto smirked, and dispelled himself.

Azure made scarlet lay down and applied a type of anethesia towards the Uchiha.

"Are you ready Scarlet-kun? Are you read to receive your light?"

Scarlet nodded. "Hai Azure-chan. Do it."

The medic-nin nodded and started the procedure. Crimson, Breeze and Midnight stood over, watching guard if anything every happens.

With Tobi

The masked man was walking towards a random location. From a point of view, it might look like he's just wandering. Tobi heard the sound of hissing and jumped back, avoiding a dozen, or so, snakes.

Tobi looked up, seeing a red hooded figure drop down.

"I've been looking for you, Madara-san."

From behind his mask, Tobi narrowed his eye.

"Kabuto. Orochimaru's lackey. What could YOU possibly want with ME?"

Kabuto smirked and licked his lips with his snake-like tongue. Tobi noticed he seemed more...snakey. "I want to join in on your little expedition. The Fourth Shinobi War."

The masked man seemed to contemplate, before sneering.

"No. Now get out of my sight."

Kabuto didn't take likely to this, and gained a certainly gleem in his glasses.

"Is that so? Sen'ei Jashu!"

Dozens of snakes shot out from Kabuto's sleeve, shooting towards Tobi. The masked man grunted and took out his swirl, all of the snakes going directly in to his personal pocket dimension. Tobi formed the Tiger sign and shouted out the jutsu's name.

"Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!"

Even though he wore a mask, Tobi somehow spat out a giant fireball towards Kabuto. The snake clapped his hands, his cheeks bulging. "Suiton: Suijinheki!"

Kabuto spat out a giant wall of water, blocking the giant fireball. Kabuto clapped his hands again, various coffins popping out from ebhind him.

"Kuychiose: Edo Tensei!"

All of the coffins' lids fell down, showing all deceased members of the Akatsuki, barring Hidan and Orochimaru. Tobi looked at the Akatsuki members and then at Kabuto.

"So you've perfected it?"

Kabuto grinned and adjusted his eyes. "Indeed. I have perfected the Edo Tensei to a degree Orochimaru-sama has dreamt about." A mischievous gleam appeared in Kabuto's face again. "And that's not all!"

Kabuto clapped his hands once more, another coffin popping up in front of him. The lid slid open, making Tobi gasp in surprise of the contents.Tobi's reaction made Kabuto grin.

"That's right. I know your secret. Take me in, and I'll help you with an army full of Edo Tenseis."

Tobi reconsidered his decisions. Although it'll take him a bit to remodel his plan, this might be more beneficial. In the end, Tobi agreed.

"Alright. Welcome to the Akatsuki."

The coffins started to return back to where they come from. Once they were all back, Kabuto smirked. "I'll be of great use to you. You have no worries."

In Amegakure

Konan opened her eyes, being faced to face with a toad carrying a scroll. "A message from Naruto."

The bluenette raised an eyebrow. "What message could he probably want to send?"

Konan accepted the scroll and began scanning through it. While reading, her eyes started to slowly widen before she dropped the scroll and went out running.
