  • They have test server for these types of matters. Like testing a patch before it releases ect. So if they wanted to test it they could, but I already assume they have, but there is no proof of it. Guess we just wait for someone to post a video of there pulls. Still not sure if it truly is bugged since I haven't pulled and I lost count on my free pulls so if anyone has a lot of scrolls willing to spend on kage treasure record it.

The test server is not live, so somehow things could be different for us on the real servers. That's why this thing should be tried on a real server and not on a test server and since is something that put no harm to the community of that server can be easily done to show us we have no reason to whine. What's sure is that like you i used about 460 scrolls in kage treasure before 3.0 and the only rares i didn't get at my 6th draw by ten were early lucky rolls at 40 or 50. I never ever got a rare at my 7th or 8th draw by ten so what i think is that with 3.0 the counter for kage treasure was somehow disabled or reset every draw by 10 they do in real live servers and only the lucky chance to get a rare every draw was left active, that chance was always there. So, for example, i would suggest to somebody that wants to try it to actually use the 70 scrolls there not by using draw by 10 but using the draw 1 by 1, so that we can say for sure if is draw by 10 the problem.

Time to throw in my two cents:

First off, I must give thanks to you Jib for at the very least trying to keep tabs on this and reaching out to the playerbase, which is a big step up from not getting a statement at all. With that said, I do need to point out some things:

First off, there are way too many people reporting sporadic incidents such as this. If only 1-2 people make a claim and no one else notices, then I can understand the reluctance. But when a vast majority are seeing something VERY DIFFERENT than what they were used to before 3.0, then it really does merit a deeper investigation. Unfortunately, I assume that you can either only report what has been passed to you (which you may very well be kept in the dark on matters as well) or it is possible you do know more, but aren't allowed to comment. (which is understandable)

There is a VERY noticeable difference post 3.0 update. I am a very meticulous type of person and have recorded every pull I have made down to a science. Each pull for Kage was 60 Seal Scrolls for a rare (ticker) on the dot when pulling 10 at a time. No deviation. Now we have reports of people going 90~110. (and in some extreme cases, 150). This isn't an issue that should be shrugged off in the slightest. As the saying goes....where there is smoke, there is almost certainly fire.

Lastly, to be very critical of you (sorry, but I must in fairness) I take issue with the fact that players are told to "video record" IF they are concerned or worried. I feel that this isn't the right stance to take. What players here is: "There is nothing wrong or changed, believe us. However, if you feel that it isn't, record it "NEXT TIME" for the future."

The reason this bugs me so is that:

1) There doesn't seem to be absolute certainty with player reports or concerns.

2) This pretty much tells the people that were already affected, "Sorry, but since you don't have proof, we can't help you."

Let me clarify: I'm not saying that this is what you (or anyone from Oasis) are actually saying, but this is the impression that it gives to players that save their Seal Scrolls for months, then have something odd happen with no recourse.

Players aren't expecting expecting a full on 10 page report and video proof from Oasis, but WE DO expect a little more effort than a, "Nothing was changed with the Kage Treasure" type of response.

End Tirade

Everyone is absolutely right in this thread. I have no complaints but I will say that it has been changed. I pulled my first super at 830 post 3.0(received AY if anyones wondering". The thing is, people who pulled prior to 3.0 all got their other super with a 10 pull? People who only dropped maybe 760 scrolls into the treasure received both supers? Seeing how tedious it is to drop to an upwards amount of 1k to pull a super and now some people have both for under that amount. A super that isn't extremely viable atm, especially AY lol. I had heard rumors of it happening but its rampant on my server. It happened again today. I cant just see why they don't be honest about the rates. People pulling aimlessly in a treasure with no idea of when they will or wont get a super. That's the whole reason I stopped. If I had known that, "hey you have a possibility of getting both supers for under 1k in the future"...you can bet your sweet biscuits I would've kept pulling there lol. I don't know if you lowered the counter or threshold I should say, but why not just tell people?? Try to level with us. If it was lowered to 400 for both or something ridiculous then cool. But if its just a wild, out in the depths of time and space number then that's no Bueno. None of us are dumb. Its not like we're 5 and 6 year olds playing the game. We all notice things. You cant pee on us and then say its raining, because we know better. I'm not mad, angry, nor am I upset but we all would like a little transparency.

Lmao. True. But they reverted it back without saying anything. Everyone now pulling rares every 60. People were ending up with both supers for under 1k and rare pulls were random. Smh, Just cant be honest.

Although it's nice its back to normal, don't expect anyone from the OASIS team to make a statement. If they do, they would be contradicting their statement that the pulls are "random".
