One of the hidden aspects that was implemented in china with the upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0 was the modification of the damage formula to let defense and resistance matter more than in 2.0 so that stacking buffs ninjas like kimimaro wouldn't die in round1 by a comparable power heavy damaging team, making so more likely for pvp battles to reach round 5+ in comparison with 2.0

Now, since this is an hidden mechanics and we players can't know at all if this was implemented or not unless by experiencing it for a long time, i would wish to know if you noticed any difference and if possible i would like to have a confirmation by the mod/admins if this was implemented or not, because some of the biggest modifications in mechanics like crimson fist ones (the reduction of the bonus from 60% to 40% and the change of pose of duel) were made because there was this new formula.

are you sure on this actually being changed? i say this because it could look that way since the game slowly scales towards tanky ninjas being stronger as power goes up and could give of that impression

Yes, in china roshi teams became viable in 3.0 for that reason.

I don't think we got the new formula just yet. It will come but not soon.

I tried going against a similar power and my Roshi was rekt after 3 hits like usual :P so ye, there's your answer!

i knew too about the damage formula modification, but my impression is that still is not implemented and this largely unbalances the whole game we are currently playing.

Han is totally useless if u have higher initiative on that 1st spot to mute him. His 1st mystery should be a passive start, or else hes totally useless after his mystery got muted. So much for 210 seals.

You know you c*e FM or WM heal/mystery to avoid that right? Hell now even earth main can do that if you also use SN or another chakra giver to launch 3rd mystery turn1. Wind main doesn;t need han since she has a mystery of her own. Whio would pair LM with han???


In any case this situation is VERY easy to avoid just with your main, ;et alone ninjas like kurenai, ningendo, healers, etc. Han is a great ninja, very tanky and very useful. Just pair him up with the correct ninjas in your lineup.


Also if you were expecting him to singe handedly win you all fights against all other teams no wonder you are disappointed.

How to avoid? Avoid what? you don't understand if LM opponent has higher initiative with seal mystery your han becomes useless? Or you think that FM mystery can stop han's mystery from being muted? Even WM refresh is useless becuz her mystery can only be used on the 2nd round. I always see alot of wannabes here, with loud mouth lel

FYI, I win alot of battles using him against 20k higher powers, I won't divulge anymore about that

A lightning blitz team that uses seal mystery? Now that's an imaginative interpretation of what a BLITZ team is. So it basically LM attacks only 2 times and he still kills your Han? At similar BP? If the answer is yes you have to seriously invest in magatamas and defense.


Han is a hard counter against lightning blitz. It is not infalible but 9/10 times he will stop them right in their tracks. If the rest of the team is properly set up then even if Han dies the lightning team will be heavily damaged by that point. If you have higher init then you have the advantage, so its normal your chances of winning increase.


Now if you have a lightning team that is not a blitz team, Han's effectiveness will be lesser. He is not a god ninja that will allow you to beat any LM setup such as susanoo brothers ot DP Hidan teams. It is a great ninja that has its uses, it will not however win you the fight by himself and certainly does not specifically counter LM. He counters blitz teams that rely on multiple stacked buffs and killing 1-2 ebnemy ninjas round 1.

yeah, no matter what ur argumentation is, Han is not good enough for a common people like us a F2P player heheheh....... we lack initiative power and Han mystery should be in passive skill, i mean the the effect to wear off opponent buff etc should be in passive skill. Furthermore as for the mystery, oasis can leave it as mystery that deal a damage as usual. With that Han will become good enough to be a ninja that needed 210 seal scroll to draw him :)

why take han if you know he isn't good for your team? just going with the hype, I didn't even pull any jinchuu's since my team can still survive and win most of the newer teams


I am a complete f2p player but I don't hold complains about p2w having higher stats since they're paying for it, I manage by planning ahead of time and saving materials for events so I can get the most out of it



Think before you act, I really want Han since I'm a water team, but I decided to be wind main in the future so I'm saving coupons and seal scrolls for the ninjas that I need in the future
