No, you can get Summons you already have from the Summon Treasure. They transform into Summoning Points if you already own them.

Yep. They'll just be converted into points for the summoning exchange shop, I think?
That's why, since I don't need Purples anymore, I'm just drawing from the summoning treasures whenever I get a summoning scroll. I no longer save for x10 for that one since I don't care for purples anymore.

its still important to save up your scrolls, the summoning points can be used to buy level 3 or level 5 runes, or to buy fragments for the gold summons.

You need luck for just about everything in this game, it is annoying don't they know how to make a game fun.

No they dont but they know how too abuse ppl with gambling mechanics. Well hard to blame them it works well in all games today.
