I was wondering what the best mood would be. What do I want the -5% on? I know I want the buff on ninjutsu, but idk what the best place for the debuff is.
Hmm. Well, let's see. Scarlet Blaze hardly uses Attack, and usually never really uses Defense because they have Tanks. Midnight Bladesvary I believe, but seeing as they're squishy anyway, a small hit to Defense, or even 100 less HP at my level wouldn't hurt.
Breeze Dancers are tricky too, but I think you could get away with less HP for them. Crimson Fists aren't really Ninjutsu specialists so I don't think you're that. XD
Honestly? Look for the stat you're worst in. That minimizes the disadvantage, and you can easily * Magatamas in that area to compensate. Mostly though, you have to be prepared to use a few meat* to get a favorable mood. The good news is that if you decide to change your mood later, your Mood Levels stay constant, meaning you could hit that big benefit into Attack if you decide to go Taijutsu. I even keep seeing references to saving preferred moods, which would be excellent if I could switch people to an advantage against the Nine-Tailed Fox and then switch them back later.
Don't worry too much though! It's not a big loss to any stat, although it will be a bit bigger of a disadvantage as your numbers get higher - but that benefit of 25% is SUPER HIGH at the same time. If I was level 70, taking a 5% hit to Life might amout to 150 out of 3000 base. However, if my Ninjutsu is 1800? That's an extra 450 power! All my heals would be that much stronger!
Just experiment! ^_^
