1＃ Go ToI want to understand what is the policy of oasis about account sharing.
Lets say i get 'gifted' with an account by a friend that chose to quit the game and I, myself, own my personal account. If i play both the accounts as if both were mine can I be banned? And lets say the reply is no. If I use the account of my friend to make the game hard for many other people will my friend account be banned? And mine?

- i cant reply on the first thing, they certainly dont punish the first thing, but if you even consider doing the second you should be banned, because dont cheat just because you *....
There is a big difference between an illegal thing that is not punished until somebody reports it and a legal thing.
I'm pretty sure the first thing falls in the assumption that is not legit but until somebody reports it is not punishable more than that is legit, but that's also why i asked. -

TL;DR
yes, but generally only if you DO NOT play on the server which that account plays. So if it's in game friend, no.
Last time it came up, this is fine.
However, you are NOT allowed to have multiple characters on the same server if you do anything that will benefit one of them using another (i.e. self plunder etc)
This was before Xserver sage, and I believe the mod grudgingly accepted that if *t is made for the SOLE purpose of enabling sage, it's fine, thou you can't farm it in the sage for pts (sign up but do not enter is the way to go).
Beyond that, there is no known sanctioned use of alts. Thou I reckon alts for the purpose of game-info gathering (i.e. seeing exactly what the talents of each class are w/o having to change class) might be acceptable. -

Hi there,
While account sharing, like you showcased it, is not exactly prohibited, it would not be encouraged either.
On the other hand, if you are gaining profits from the shared account, it may have some consequences, that I would rather want to avoid, if I were you ;p
Just to make clear, what I mean by gaining profits, it includes stuff like plundering the shared account ;p You know, just avoid exploiting one account just to benefit the other, and it is in the boundaries of being acceptable.

Ok, lets talk about the specific case I'm talking about.
There is a whale in a certain server (for now i don't say names because i want to be sure first). That whale choses to quit the game, but after he does so he choses to give user name and password to another whale from another server. That person deliberately avoids to level up the new account he gained (that should be dead since the real owner quitted) to be always able to stay in a cross server sage world battlefield where he is invincible and untouchable, stealing so every time the 1st reward of his side and making the game really hard for everybody that has the unluck to be in his field.
Is this a potential reason to ban or not? Because i know people from my merged server, not me since sadly I'm level 90, that without him would be easy able to be 3rd that are not because he is there (if he is in their field because he steals one of the 3 places and if he is in another field because as soon as they get a winning streak they get matched with him that nukes them in round 1).

The point is that is not the real owner and that by doing so he damages other people and ruins their experience in swb. And no, when you'll know about who I'm talking about you'll understand that he doesn't need at all those advanced refinement runes, so he has nothing to gain by winning 1st place. Actually, if u look deeper into the issue, more than half of your servers, are filled with alt accounts, why, cuz most groups and servers are dying, so they need "alts" to be competitive, that's why rules havent been enforced in that matter, otherwise, you would kill off the game pretty much. -

As far as the policy goes, I believe this is fine.
Because he is not benefiting his other characters through this, which is what is not allowed. Being a troll and/or hurting other, however, is not governed by any account policy.
Again, there is NO policy regard account trading/gifting, ONLY multiple characters such that some are used to benefit another.
Edit: You can attempt to request for the rules to be changed. However, whatever rule you request should be generic and common, applying to some category of cases. You cannot, as far as I can see, tailor make any new rule to prevent the behavior described unless you request for ALL account sharing to be banned. As it were, there is no such concept of "using a gifted account, purposely not level and hurt players in sage". What it breaks down to is:
Is account sharing ok?
Is level freezing ok?
Is bullying player in sage ok?
No rules should ever be made for a composite case, only on the individual elements. And as it were, only the account sharing one might merit a rule change request to be banned genericlly.

I have a similar case to report (maybe is the same person this guy talks about since he plays in my merged server, as far as i know), i'll put it later in misbehaviour with explanations, if is bannable or not i don't know, but surely is dejecting for all of us in 57-73+172-306 server. -
