1＃ Go ToHi Moderator, there is alot of confusion amongst players on what determines the power of ninjas in Arena.
I hope that you can clear up some of my questions and the questions of others in this thread.
We know that all ninja attributes are scaled to level 100, but beyond that there is no confirmation.
1. Does Strenghtening apply in Arena?
Equipment Strenghtening Yes/No
Equipment Upgrading Yes/No
Beset Magatama Yes/No
Equipment Refining Yes/No
Equipment Puriffy Yes/No
Rune Stone Yes/No
Charms Yes/No
2. Does Ninja Awakening or mood apply in Arena?
Awakening Yes/No
Mood Yes/No
3. Does the following sources of power work as per normal in arena?
Summon runes Yes/No
Eight Inner Gates Yes/No
Battle Armor Yes/No
Bond Level Yes/No
Group Skills Learning Yes/No
Let me know if I have missed any other source of power and i will add them to the list.

The reply is No to everything, the only single stat that makes change your displyed power in arena, by using the same lineup, is initiative. Try to remove magatamas/runes and you'll see by yourself by doing training.The point is if the displayed power reflects what happens in truth or not.
My guessing is that the reply is a no here too and that a % of the real stats still stay, just hidden.
But for sure what makes change your displayed power by using the same lineup is only initiative.

I'm surprised you missed it while reading it in the Arena interface but increasing your initiative is the only thing that counts in arena.
Equipment refining, Equipment purify but its based on RNG, leveling your initiative rune stones, using your helmet charms to level, getting the quick chakra in eight gates, and increasing the rank in battle armor, and if you're a whale, you can equipment purify breakthrough are sources I found to increase initiative.
