Let's * off a few short reviews before I eventually turn into a puddle.
In this third skillbook review, we'll be taking a look at Guy. Guy only gets three skill books spread throughout two skills. Guy's current role is blitz support/single-target-nuke. Let's see if Guy's upgraded kit can help him raise up to meet the Kage meta.
Mystery: Dynamic Entry : Cause Taijutsu damage to the selected opponent’s unit and Repulse and Interruption. A modest upgrade. This skill serves a key interupt role in blitz teams and it hits pretty hard. One less round of cooldown makes Guy even more of a pest.
GRADE: B-
Passive 3: Hot Blooded Guidance: When Guy is in battlefield, each of your units will Heal themselves by 15% when they cause Taijutsu damage.Passive 3 +1: Hot Blooded Guidance +1: When Guy is in battlefield, each of your units will Heal themselves by 20% when they cause Taijutsu damage.Passive 3 +2: Hot Blooded Guidance +2: When Guy is in battlefield, each of your units will Heal themselves by 25% when they cause Taijutsu damage.
So.... This upgrade propelled Guy into the top blitz teams in China. There's no wonder as to why. 25% hp drain on hit is huge when you consider the other giants on the current blitz roster. Prepare to watch in horror as low HP MB's and Ay's tear through your walls and come out of it with full health.
GRADE: A+
PREDICTIONS:
Guy moves up to 1st tier lightning blitz meta. In addition, Guy will improve his ability to support Summon teams with his drain passive. As I mentioned in my Lee review, Guy turns Lee into a monster drain tank. Expect Guy to be the focus of your oponent's wrath as his dual roles and moderate toughness provide both a threat and easy target for crowd control. Overall, not a major change to Guy but just enough to make him a threat.... again.
OVERALL GRADE: A
