Lets say I'm your average f2p or low cashing player that after a lot of hardmanship was able to reach rank 6 battle armor.
What i see is that to rank up again my battle armor to rank 7 i need (if i don't mistake) up to 100 stacks of 8 advanced threads. By my previous experience in ba i know the armor won't rank up before that counter reaches at least 70, but way more likely 90+, so i make two calculations and i discover that if i get the luck of the devil i need 70*8 = 560 advanced threads (but since I'm your average player I'm not that lucky and so more likely I'll need something between 720 and 800 threads).
Since i know how things work i wait for rebate to rank up and so i get 90 free threads, i miss, at this point 470 threads (630-710 if I'm not the lottery winner kind of person).
I look at this point at what are my options and what do i see? That the only two ways to get them are space time shop and direct coupons purchase.
Now, if I'm not a whale, i expect to be, at most, in the region of the 400 spacetime currency per day so I'm able to buy 1 thread every two days, but beware, that this is not true for all the months but just for two weeks out of three, because when there's the strongest combat week i don't get currency. So, lets say i spend all my currency there. How many days do i need to see my battle armor rank 7? 1890-2130 that are 'only' 5-6 years.
Lets say i choose instead to gather all my coupons for it. As a moderate casher that gets both jonin medal and monthly subscription i get 2100 coupons per month there + 4500 coupons from plunderings (thing true only if i never lose an attempt and if i live in an active server that let me actually do them) + lets say 1000 others from others features. 7500 per month rounded up.
Lets say i avoid everything else and just focus on battle armor caring 0 about events, ninja fragments and other power ups. Every month i get about 130 threads if i go for disconted packs only. So, how many days do i need to get my rank7 in this case? 5 months.
Now, since we all know plunder attempts for people that aren't whales in active servers go well just 66% of the times in average then that time rises to 7 months and this is only if my server continue to be constantly active for so long.
The truth is that if i actually do both the spacetime harvest and the coupons hoarding routes very likely 1 year is not enough to reach to goal.
This is something wholly unacceptable, overall because there are also rank 8 and 9 that requires twice and five times the effort for rank 7.

You have to give us other ways to get advanced threads and also a dignified quantity of them too.
Is not possible that if i play wisely and i do all the things in the right way that in 3-4 months I'm not able to reach rank 7, overall knowing 8 would take 9-12 months and 9 would take 24-30 months. This doesn't change anything for whales, whales just buy everything instantly, for them a perspective of a 3 months waiting is the same as a perspective of 4 years.

Suggestions: 1) Strong approaching difficult mode should drop advanced threads only and in a range of 3-5 per try. 18-30 per week would be the very minimum acceptable if you don't add also other ways. 2) The cost in spacetime shop should be cut by 10 times.
3) An half way of those two, so a cut by 3 times of the price and a 1-3 sure drop of them from strong approaching difficult mode. 4) Let us somehow trade advanced cloths for advanced threads sonething like every 3-4 advanced cloths used we get 1advanced thread.
5) Do what you want but give us an hope than in 2 years of playing we are able to reach rank 9. 99% of the players quit before so makes no sense we had not this chance without paying when you introduced other boosts like charm materials and purification pills for whales only.
