My question is essentially the same as the title of this thread: When does Great Ninja War open for S585: Gedo Statue?

Does it unlock automatically after a period of time or do the admins need to update the server?

The leader/seniors of your group have to sign you up sometime between Monday and Wednesday. Fights take place Wednesday and Saturday starting at 19:30.

No, this is a newer server and Great Ninja War doesn't appear on the event list at all. It's not on the list of events. Even if you don't take part, it should still appear on the event list

I have noticed that the event bar doesnt appear on the event list. Still if your group has high enough activity and are registered, your group can participate in GNW. It just wont show on event lists.
