Oh no, no no, my dear- let them first merge all those which never got merged before- like our- and which are crying for it for few months now. But, to be honest we already quit begging for merge since last week. Our server has like 15 active players in total. If even. Don't you dare asking for merge again when there are still servers like that :Q

But seriously- yh, merging doesn't really solve problem. Already merged servers lose players too and soon become deserted anyway x( But if you're lucky, might meet some cool people from servers merged with your, to play with and enjoy it even with little population.

In time, most of the events will become cross-server, this is the easy solution that tencent found for this game. Only minor events (like 9tails, jinchuriki and Ti) will stay server only.

Right or wrong, this is what is supposed to happen.

Merging server doesnt solve problem of dead servers because of the astronomic rate at which they open new ones its a race they can never win.
Any other game new players would be sent to existing servers till they are more or less full but with them monetising p2w on new servers they abandoned this proven mechanic that works EVERYWHERE ELSE .Merging only works if they merged faster than the new servers were going dead. There are essentially dozens if not hundreds of half dead servers that could be merged and have been asking for months and months but they have to prioritise the new ones that have the initial rush then get abandoned. Just slow opening new servers to like 1-2 a month.

I agree, that solution works just fine everywhere. Unless the developer think that creating new servers will make it more likely for more people to pay to be top on it :S
