I don't get where some of you guys are coming from. I know a lot of Germans said Roshi was under powered so I wasn't expecting much. But I've been saving seals for him since Tendo Treasure so I went ahead and pulled him. He is MUCH better than what the Germans said. Blitz is capable of taking him down...I'll admit I've heard this but I've not experienced it myself. Infact my experience has been even after my whole team dies I still have a chance to win because of Roshi.
Infact the other day I fought a team that lined up beneath my roshi so they took out the bottom part of my formation, and then with debuffs they killed my main. So it was 4 ninjas against Roshi. He came back and beat them all down aside from the water main. I ended up winning with like 8k hp against my opponents having 7.2k. My point is I don't think I have any other ninja that could have pulled that off.
I thought for sure the match was lost. And that isn't the only time Roshi has saved me. Now I'm not saying he is OP or anything but he is better than a lot of posters here would have you believe. All that "He *s until 3.0" is a complete lie. I mean not only did 3.0 not do ANYTHING for the Germans yet, he is pretty * good right now. If Germans thought he was weak then they were not using him correctly.
But sure, you can beat him if you line up your team correctly against him...maybe. But maybe not? And honestly, either way, luck shouldn't be a factor that you hold against him. Besides even the strongest blitz on my server couldn't beat my Earth main team once I shielded Roshi. That isn't a brag, I'm just saying he isn't nearly as squishy as people would want you to believe. Of course, I did mood him life and I have him on a life tactic spot. But that should be standard procedure for any tank.
It's worth mentioning that earth main team does die to immortal teams, but I think by now we c*l agree immortal teams are more powerful than most teams, and you know...immortal. (Of course some blitz teams do exist that have enough power to dps them down, but please don't say that is a formation thing...it's a power thing.)
You are running an earth team though; that is the important part. Roshi is competitive with earth main. because you can actually shield him sufficiently to live.
Many players hyped up roshi to be some kind of instant "I win" ninja that works with any main, which just is not the case. With mains that aren't earth, roshi is extremely vulnerable to getting sniped by any f2p meta team. -

He's one of the best front tanks to deal with blitz
I 65k blitzed the fk out of a 75k roshi so your entire post is invalid
Cool story, I dove into a Roshi 107k vs 97k, few crits and a combo, didn't die t1. Various blitz teams can be made to win, but in general, he's tanky enough with Bee shield that it's not reliable. Blitz teams are super risky in the effect that if they don't kill 2 ninjas before they all die, the team loses.
The ninja is broken af and dumb. I'm sure random mood/tactic/luck instances will change this but in the p2w world equal bp he's uncounterable and overpowered as hell. This post was last edited by Loaf at 2017-6-23 14:22 -

I know it won't change but, wtf were they smoking making a side character better than the six tails?
Lol it is odd. I thought the same thing myself. Especially seeing how he had 5 seconds of screen-time on the show. But nevertheless he's supposed to be the next strongest jinchurriki in the series. So I can kind of see why he's a top tier character in this game. But he wont be stronger once 6 tails gets a buff down the road. I believe 6 tails gets a nin scaling as well. But all in all....not everyone can afford a 6 tails. Have to have balance somewhere I guess -

You got me curious, since i'm still not sure if Roshi is worth my seals
are you f2p ? if yes how much power you got ?
Also what's your current earth lineup ?
Nah I'm not F2P. I have 82kish power with my Roshi team but it consists of mostly 3 star ninja. The Earth team was as follows:
Bee(Shielding one) - Earth main - X
Hanzo - X - Roshi
X - X - X
With that the passives I use are the shielding standard and the team wide shield. The myst is the AoE one that shields the Earth main. I use the Sun Move Tactics aswell which boost Resistance for EM, Bee and Hanzo. Roshi gets a life boost and is mooded for life. Pretty decent shields and you c*e Bee on EM if you want to get even more. But the reason I changed from this team is because out side of a power advantage on a buff team the only weakness an immortal team has is another immortal team. So I had to switch to Water main for now. Although there aren't as many immortal teams these days, I still hate the idea of losing to them... -

I am also considering if spend seal scrolls for Roshi.
I have Midnight Blade, is it best for me to try to have AY or Sasuke Susano'o from the Kage treasure? How much scroll they need?

Probably better off dumping your seals for Roshi then revisiting kage. Roshi is 200-220. At least that's what I'm doing. Ay and Susanoo Sasuke have an upwards pull rate of 700-1000. Ive heard as low as 660. -

Hi guys , i need your opinion and help ! I`m pure f2p and i want a lineup with roshi . Personally i`ve thinking at : Earth main + sage naruto + bee + roshi but i dont know . I want who know better this game to tell me the best lineup i can make ( btw i dont have curse hidan ) . I dont care about " roshi is weak blah blah " Just i need your help with the best solution . any main ( i dont have much rare ninjas but i will see your opion ) . And also i need all information : MOODS , INNER , TALENTS , ETC ETC . I really need the best option for me cause i want to stay with that long time . Hope you can help me !
