Tbh...you should have done your homework. I'm a free to play and I learned how broken Roshi was back in January, after I got Kazekage Gaara in Kage Treasure - I saved to get Roshi (Spent to Rasa :c Couldn't help it) and I got Roshi.
Yes. He is godly. :O And btw, he only gains Nin and Def and ignites attacker ONLY if he is dealt Taijutsu damage - that includes NinTai. Anything Pure Nin will not trigger it - that goes for Kabuto as well. His deal 1 damage to everyone is Nin, so it won't trigger Roshi's talent.
EDIT: For the record, it isn't THAT easy to get his chase 30 off. The team I built can get it out 100% of the time, but I had to sacrifice a lot as an earth main to get it like that.
