It's been like this for a while and looks like it hasn't been fixed yet, so here it is. Maybe they mean this (from Narutopedia): "In the Rock Lee's Springtime of Youth Full Power Ninja Chronicles anime and Naruto: Shippūden episode 377, Team Guy was referred to as Team Three (第3班, 第三班, Daisanhan). Whether this is canon or not is unknown."

that question really comes down to process of elimination, kakashi is team 7, Kurenai is team 8, and asuma is team 10.
