This is a strategy that I use. While it lacks a barrier, I make up for it with the Wind Main's Shadow Clone Standard Attack. The Kyuubi only attacks what's in front of it, so if the Main makes a Shadow Clone every turn, then not a single character will die.

Granted, my DPS is slightly suffering, but I do get around 1.3mil Damage without the Coupon Revival.
