Another thing to keep in mind is that while the majority voted no, 826 people (44%) voted yes. Not sure why people keep exaggerating saying "no one" asked for this and "everyone" hates the idea of cross server sage when it's clear almost half the people voted yes.

I can see why people are upset, but I'd wait until actually experiencing it before complaining. A lot of people complaining seem so jaded and cynical from existing cross server stuff that this is the only way they can express themselves. At a certain point, if you have that little faith in this game, why not just quit?
