You might get them instead of the real scrolls when doing the team instances for the scrolls of truth.

You don't actually want to get the fakes instead of the real ones as the rewards are just bad.

The real and fake scrolls are obtained by doing Team instances they have a chance to drop seal scrolls/summons scrolls and other items, The real scroll has the higher better drops, and the fake has the smaller worse drops, Hope this helps

that defin8ly helps me, cuz i signed in 2 my server last weekend with this event going on, and i had no frekin clue what the hek the fake scrolls and ninja and all that stuff was. thx a ton:lol
