Immobilize got reflected onto naruto's clone by ningendo. During naruto's standard attack, he spawned a second clone instead of attacking. Both clones are on the field at once. I've tested it with the exact scenario and the Earth Main was immobilized thus stopping his chase.
You'll have to provide visual proof for me to report it otherwise.

The specific issue only happened in spacetime; a bunch of people were watching at the time and were surprised at the outcome. The issue might be spacetime only, which would be very difficult to reproduce.

I witnessed that happening before on matsuri (if memory serves me) and I was quite confused too. I believe it probably could be recreated by immobilizing the clone .
