Just wanted to say that when you reach level 85 you don't get the usual main plot quest that tells you that you need to reach the following level to unlock the following plot instances. I know level 85 used to be the cap level, but now is not so anymore, so people in game doesn't know what happens after level 85 without it.

It's a simple transition level.
Your questline should appear at level 86.

But yes OP, I agree. There should be a notification.
