Everytime we win in team fights against random mobs in Konoha Forest, we gain "points".
But those points aren't EXP. So then what kind of points are they?

Nobody in chat seems to know. Nor any of the people I've teamed with. So I am asking here. If anyone knows, please post.

They actually are EXP points, but only for your ninjas (so not main character)

I disagree. I joined a team, completed a fight, and gained mysterious points. Then I went to check Naruto's EXP amount AFTER the fight. I compared it to the amount he had BEFORE the team fight. They were identical.

Conclusion:

1) Mysterious "points" from team battles do not change the total EXP points for each ninja.
2) Mysterious "points" from team battles does not change the total EXP points for the main character.

So we're back to square one. Nobody seems to know what those "points" are for.

NEW INFO: I just found out that TEAM battles DO provide EXP but only to those ninjas whose level is lower than the main char.

Indeed, your ninjas can only be up to your level, so if they are at their cap they obviously don't gain exp.
