Question, where can you obtain more tool essence and also, forge it to a tool, if you reforge another one to the same tool, does it replace the previous stat or does it add to it? The reason I ask is because the tool essence says ADDITIONAL.

You can't receive anymore if you've complete all of the Ultimate Training. Yep you're right on the money, it completely replaces that specified stat with whichever tool essence you've chosen to merge. Some of this was answered/confirmed by Tobei a few days ago.

Additional: refers to the other stats other than base attributes on each tool, whereas the essences have no base stats only addition an one.

That's correct.

It's essentially used to reforge TI items.
As for obtaining more, unfortunately, there's no other way to get Tool Essence at the moment.
The only way to obtain them is by completing Ultimate Training.

it will always replace never add, that's how the reforge system has always worked essence are just an item made specifically to reforge with

every tool has got 6 slots for additional stats, if your tool doesn't have all of them filled you can actually select one of the empty slots to add the stat without replacing any other one.

Yes,

It'll replace an unwanted stat with the Tool Essence
