thats nice to see =D, I am also glad this competition is getting under way
Although i will admit that i think the regulations make it hard to make a decent video for the competition so that if there is another one, the restrictions are lighter in regards to what the video must requires or that the video itself should be able to contain 2 parts, as if its based on a particular system such as space time, containing 2 parts in a singular video while still being able to properly encompass whats required can come out to be an overly lengthy video.... changing this would allow for people to have more creativity in there choices, just a suggestion

Yes I agree, in the future I believe we can be a bit creative with events like this in order to add some variety in there. I believe something can be done in the future. My main goal at the moment is to finish up the current ones that need finishing, at least before we can add too many new events :). -

Unfortunately Arun it is not up to me, it's the rules of the original thread and I am to abide by them. It does not have to be of your own battle but can be of other people's battles. The reason I have allowed you guys the chance of doing this by the end of this new season was because you'd have a whole week of being able to watch fights in order to record it. I am not sure how to really guide you otherwise as I figured a week worth of strongest ninja was enough time to record it (even with mistakes or taking new footage due to bad quality or choppy FPS etc).
If you have older footage and wish to commentate over it in order to give a reasonable guide, I c*low that as well. Though at the minimum, the requirements require footage of both sections of Space Time.
ok so whats the deadline can ya tell me the exact date -

Note: This post has been filtered by Daiske (Administrator)quite a fair amount, the issue comes out when the rules of the competition constrain one to much as i said just above, the first one i believe had 11 entrants? this one itself just a very time consuming topic to do well, if at all be able to meet the minimum requirements -

The day after this season ends (after the Finals match), is when I'll start putting up a poll on the forums with a vote. This event should not delay any further than that honestly. -

one final question can i download the fights of previous season fights (finals) from other youtubers and then remove their voice and commentate over it? I am asking this because i can make a good video by using those fights and explain the people more efficiently -

dont forget to ask permission to re-use there content if you want to try this and then to reference them somewhere for the work they did, if this is allowed that is
alternatively i can send you some of the fights ive done this season for coupon rankings(part 1 only, replay system for most), however i wouldnt let you use any of the content from my competition video

That's sort of against the purpose behind this competition. Using another person's work and calling it your own isn't in the spirit of the competition. It's about being creative in making our own content and finding a way to make it entertaining or insightful.
Recording a fight is the easiest part, it's literally just hitting record during a fight (you don't even have to speak) and you can dub it over later, or else do like one of the contestants and use creative text. -

the main prob is i will never be able to record a strongest ninja part because my time zone will never permit it.... as well as i am talking about previous seasons fights which i have not available . Regardless i will try to get some fights recorded by my friends . -

If you are only using someone's "recorded" footage (with their permission) and only one part of the video, and you are making your own guide out of it and not stealing their advice calling it your own. Then I guess I can accept it. Though it's in the grey area and be sure to credit the recorder in text or something so people are aware it's not your own video footage in that part, and confirm it was with their permission. -

Hi there everyone!
Right, to answer your question Akidonoki, I will post a comment here once the event ends.
Now to the important update. Due to the forums being updated and there was a long downtime, I have been instructed that events such as this one will have an extended deadline. I have edited the main post stating that the extension has been placed to August 6th. Now I know everyone here wants to get things rolling so I have placed the poll on the same day the extension ends, it will run for one week, from August 6th until August 13th, the poll will have its own thread.
You may have noticed I have edited a lot of your posts, I had to fix the embedding due to the forum being changed. I apologize if the main post or any of the comments look confusing. Now, please do take advantage of the extensions everyone who wants to get involved. Good luck!
One final note, there are videos who I regard as high quality but forget to include the auto part of Space-Time and only included Strongest Ninja (kudos to Akidonoki for following the rules to the T and including both). After careful consideration of all the work many of you placed and also the lack of videos actually posted within the 3 month time period Achroma has given you, I will instead rate the poll ba
sed on quality of videos and what people have enjoyed. In which case, I will include the above videos in the poll and the forums can decide the victor. That does not mean laze about though, if any previous entrants would like to re-upload to a better video in order to improve your chances, by all means you should! :)
