I actually run into this same problem with my team. However, I've never had a situtation where I've lost a battle where Hinata's skill activates on the 2nd turn. In many cases, I've actually preferred Hinata's skill activating on the 2nd turn, because the opponent uses Hinata on turn 1 and locks down my entire team.

in auto, damage causing mysteries are prioritized as well as healing mysteries when any of your team member is not at full health. initiative only come in role when you're casting both mysteries, where the ninja with a higher initiative and moving order will go first before your opponent, otherwise it has nothing to do with ais determination of what mystery to use.

Yeah, Nala is definitely one of those that lock me down on turn 1 xP

On topic, it might be the ordering of your Mysteries that influence the order of them activating, but not sure how to influence them.

so what can I do on ranked battle to make hinata go first, nothing?

basically yea, unless shes the only one on that team with 0 mystery cd at the start of the battle,
or the other mysteries are healing based/non-damage causing and your team is at full health with no conditions
