Its cause midnight blade is the most accessible main. And he's generally good at most lvls of the game. Wind and Water come in later game. Earth you need expensive p2w ninja to make good. Fire got nerfed with 2.0, he's still decent. But with Midnight blade its easy to make a fairly strong team with more simple ninja. Kimimaro and Sasuke are both Lightning and sword ninja.

dont forget the fact a MB with 5k lower power than you can 1 shot a entire team turn 1 cause its clearly balanced lol -

How late exactly? Because at least according to space time, wind STILL haven't come into it in S2-S12 LA, which is now 8 months old. The amount of wind main on rankings is more than 50% under par (i.e. -
