coin trial might needs it own

some sealed might be too hard for generic PvE (then again, it depends on what the PVE slot is used for)

group trial might require special teams (note plural as there are different ones)

There are two SA, thou they don't switch very frequently, they do switch

Some people have more than one PvP team, some special counter team that are used in plunder etc against known targets.

Group summon if you are OCD enough, thou considering it's easy enough to kill for most this isn't a need.

5 would make me happy, thou it's truly the more the merrier here.

Hey

There might be additional sets in the future.
But currently, there are no plans for it.

Thank you for your suggestion!

The thing is, different team require different min-max gear compo, this is more or less a result of the purify system.
For PvP team, init is what you want to sort gears by
For fox/coin trail team, you will want to go by crit, let your highest damage dealers deal even more.
For PvE team, a lot of time it's better to go by combo, so that you can more reliably proc combo w/o using mystery.
On the other hand, SA requires stability, it is possible that you DONT want your ninja to proc combo (this is a problem in Hanzo SA, I don't want my neji to proc his combo)
And depending on purpose, perhaps sometimes you want a mixture of them.

Switching ninja is easy, switching gear isn't. Right now, my SA team isn't optimized. My TI team technically isn't optimized but it's gotten to the point where it's too easy for me to care. I would probably re-optimize a team for group instance, but I don't have a slot for that.

If I were lazy, I won't even bother switching team between group summon and nine tail fox, they are similar, but they aren't the same. The problem is in the EXACT requirements of different task, and in order to min-max, it's more complicated than simply switching ninjas.

If you aren't aware of those fine details, then I have to say YOU are the lazy one.

I'm aware of them details but most of the ninja i swap for use the same gear of the ninja that I swapped for. for My SA group I only have to switch one ninja. for group instance, I use the same team as pve. for nine tails same as group summon. it all depends if u already have the right gear on ur ninjas in my opinion.so that's two slots only used then I can have a third team for pvp I don't really see what the problem is here'? as in If u need to switch tank just swap tank for tank lmao. the only time u should have to swap gear is when it's a tai user for a nin user and vice-versa

Like I said, the issue is purify. If you sort each of your gear in order of init, you will end up with different sets than if you do crit. Fox/coin SHOULD do it by crit whereas PvP needs init.
And then there are special cases where you might want to focus on one or two combo before sorting by init or crit, or just the opposite, focus on one with lowest combo before sorting by init or crit.

If purify wasn't a thing, 3 teams would be sufficient with ninja switch. But purify IS a thing, so if you don't understand, then it means you are still a newbie, you have much to learn.

When I swap, it sometimes completely mess up my equipment ordering. For example having 2 of my highest initiative equipment going to a slot 3 ninja while the other 3 still remaining in the slot 1 ninja. That kind of mess is insanely annoying to deal with.

not if u directly switch the ninja from the sidebar then that doesn't happen. so plzz learn and read up on the game before u make this type of comment.

the thing there's high refined gears you focused on for position 1 ninja for pvp, not everyone has maxed out all 4 sets. And when I do pvp, the character main is not always the same, some requires the main to be wearing the best gears and some requires another ninja to be wearing it. It's always different on Sage and different on GNW, 9tails, TeamInstance and wanted. Plus you have to set the PVE lineup so that the auto mode is perfect. I can't switch gears using ninja swap because the main can not be swapped with a ninja.

oh yeah, there is that too, my formation 2 actually have my main wearing highest init, where as 3 is one of the "others"

Oh, and for the record, #1 is sorted by crit. None of the 3 are interchangeable AT ALL.

I'm sure I can make use of more slots with alternative crit/init/combo configs.

uhmm there's no point playing TI, wanted, 9tails manually including the additional runs you do for helping out a group member. It's a repetitive thing that does not require skill. That's why they put the auto *on. Good for you for playing manual on everything. I hope that makes you a better player This post was last edited by mikrolleg at 2017-4-22 12:49
