ok so i want to be senior in out group but my friend says there isnt an option to that im at elite now how can he upgrade me to senior?

Your group leader must first demote you to member and after that can he promote you to senior.

Exactly as KenR said. Also have him make sure that there is only one other senior. You can only have 2 max in a group.
